Banner “Meyer Plumbing Supplies” exceeds expectations

Charles Greenspon borrowed $500 to open Banner Meyer Plumbing Supplies in a three-bedroom apartment on the South Side. Six employees loaded pipe from the basement window into their van to serve customers. That was how it all started. Charles’ son Lee was familiar with every aspect of the business so it was only natural that Lee assumed control of the company when Charles died. Today, Lee is the CEO of the company. He works closely with Andy Chavez and Rick Meyer Plumbing Supplies Vice Presidents Gene Hara to make Banner Meyer Plumbing Supplies Supply the great success that it is today.

The company has two locations: the original one is still at 73rdand Cottage Grove, Chicago. In 2000, a second location was opened in Buffalo Grove, Ill. This location serves Chicago, the entire northern Illinois, and the northwest Indiana territories.

Lee Greenspon says that Banner has been a proud company since its inception. We have helped to build and sustain our business by providing our customers with the best products and outstanding service.

The Buffalo Grove location was given a showroom in 2008. The 15,000 sq.ft. showroom was completed in 2008. The interactive showroom is updated regularly as new beauty products are released.

Michelle Henderson, Banner’s showroom manager, says that “the need to update it is always-present.” Banner believes it is essential to keep the most current designs available for clients to view, touch, and experience.

Showroom Include

Major brands that supply the showroom include Toto and Brizo, Franke as well as Porcher, Hansgrohe and Julien.

Meyer Plumbing Supplies by Michelle Henderson designed a tub deck with a toe kick that gives the illusion of floating.

Henderson says that the economy was down when Henderson and his team decided to open the showroom. People thought they were crazy. But, our growth has been remarkable. On a weekday, we have 35-40 customers and 85-100 customers on Saturdays.
